Four officers of the Food and Drugs Board (FDB) have been kidnapped in Sunyani, whilst embarking on an official duty to inspect local herbal distribution centers in the Municipality. The officers, according to the Public Affairs Director of the FDB, James Lartey, were locked up in a room at the premises of Dr. Boateng Herbal Center in Zongo No. 1, a suburb of Sunyani, on Wednesday 13th July, 2011, by one Akwasi Gyamfi, a shop attendant.
